The Yakima School District is searching for a new Superintendent after Jack Irion announced his retirement after the 2018-2019 school year. The new superintendent will start on July 1, 2019. Next Tuesday The Yakima School District Board of Directors will interview 6 candidates selected out of a pool of 15 people who applied for the position. The interviews are open to the public and begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 21. The interviews will be held at the Yakima School District Central Services building located at 104 N 4th Ave.
The following people will be interviewed next week.

John Boyd, Quincy, Washington
Ben Ramirez, Fife, Washington
Trevor Greene, Federal Way, Washington
