Search And Rescue Unhook A Man Hanging On A Cable

A 26-year-old man was rescued May 13 after he was caught hanging on a cable over the Naches River. Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say member of the Yakima Search and Rescue Water Response Team along with members of the tech rescue team had to rig a pulley system and a rescue line to get to the man. He told authorities he was using the cable to get to the other side of the river so he could hunt for shed antlers. The man was not injured.
