Things to look (and listen) for when the Seahawks take on the Raiders in their final preseason game  here on AM 1280 and FM 99.3 Newstalk KIT.

  • Russell Wilson's final tune up. The starting quarterback usually doesn't see a lot of action in the final preseason game, but this year it's different. This final exhibition game is  the first one in which the Seahawks go into it knowing that Wilson will be the starting quarterback when the regular season begins. It also is a chance for Wilson to establish more of a rapport with his wideouts.
  • Look for more from #1 draft pick Bruce Irvin. Irvin was drafted as a pass rush specialist, but has no sacks or tackles in three preseason games. Irvin is coming off his best week of practice, and coach Pete Carroll said he won't be surprised if Seattle's rookie has a big night rushing the passer.
  • Rookie running back Robert Turbin.  Marshawn Lynch has been out with back spasms, and the rookie out of Utah State started last week in Kansas City, seeing extended action and gaining nearly 100 yards. He will get the majority of the first unit snaps tonight.
  • The Seahawks wide receiver corps. Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin, and Golden Tate are the projected starters. Deon Butler and Ben Obamanu are returning veterans, and there are other talented rookies, young vets and free agents in the mix.
