After an 11-5 season and a playoff win on the road last year, expectations are running high for the 2013 Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks will take on the San Diego Chargers in their first pre season game of 2013 tonight at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. Look for quarterback Russell Wilson to play a series or two before giving way to Tavaris Jackson and Brady Quinn, who are in a two-way competition to win the job as Wilson's back up.

Starters will not play a lot in this game, as the Seattle coaching staff will want to evaluate players at back up positions and take a look at this year's rookies.

The broadcast starts at 5 p.m. with the pre game show, and kick off at 7 p.m. on AM 128 and FM 99.3 Newstalk KIT.

In this video, former Seahawks quarterback Brock Huard talks about why Russell Wilson id such a great fit in the Seattle offense.

Listen to the game live on Newstalk KIT.
