The Seahawks can't take over the NFC West lead this Sunday with a win against San Francisco, but a victory would put them into the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

With their win Sunday night over New England, the San Francisco 49ers maintained their game and a half lead over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West. The 10-3-1 49ers have remaining games against Seattle and Arizona, while the 9-5 Seahawks play San Francisco and St. Louis, both at Centurylink field. San Francsico would have to lose both of their remaining games and Seattle win out for the Seahawks to win the division. The Seahawks need only one win out of their last two to claim a wildcard playoff spot.

if the season ended today, the Seahawks would face the 8-6 Washington Redskins in the wild card round.
