After two close losses in San Francisco and Detroit, Seattle hopes to bounce back with two straight home games.

24 Points. A 77 yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch. Two Russell Wilson touchdown passes. A Steve Haushka field goal. And it wasn't enough.

Halfway through the season, the Seattle Seahawks are 4-4, losing Sunday in Detroit, 28-24. Three of those losses  are to division rivals San Francisco, St. Louis and Arizona.

The latest loss to the Lions was hard to take.

“The offense played great. More than enough for us to win the game,” Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas said. “If somebody would have told me the offense would give us 24 points, I would have taken that all day long.

“I think this game was more on us, especially on the backend. We gave up some explosive plays. Everybody. Across the board.”

Next up for the Seahawks, the Minnesota Vikings, who are coming off of a 36-17 Thursday night loss to Tampa Bay. The Vikings are now 5-3.
