The three days of workouts at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton will be the last organized team activity (OTA) before the 2013 training camp begins next month.

An offseason of heightened expectations for the Seahawks concludes this week with a three-day minicamp Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – the only  camp allowed under the collective bargaining agreement that ended the 136-day lockout in 2011.

After a season that saw Seattle come within just a few seconds of advancing to the NFC Championship Game, expectations for the 2013 season are high. With a returning core of hungry young veterans, some key free agent acqusitions, and this year's draft picks, the Seahawks are picked by experts to contend for a Superbowl berth.

This is the only mandatory OTA that the team is allowed to have before training camp begins in July.

The Seahawks will open up the preseason on August 8 in San Diego, and the regular season on September 8 at Carolina.
