A look at what's going on with the Seattle Seahawks today and this week.

The Seahawks' last week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) started  Monday at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton. The team will hold practices Tuesday and Wednesday, and then finish voluntary workouts on June 12. A  mandatory mini-camp starts June 17.

Cornerback Richard Sherman won the competition to be the featured player on the cover of the Madden NFL 15 video game, beating out Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the fan-based vote.

Seahawks' Insider Clare Farnsworth also recently wrote about what coach Pete Carroll had to say about quarterback Russell Wilson at the Seahawks Town Meeting last week.

“Look at the quarterback we’ve got,” coach Pete Carroll said during his Town Hall gathering at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday night. “He can do everything. He can stay in the pocket and throw the football. He can take off and run. He can play-fake to fool you. He can get the ball out on the perimeter. And man, can he scramble.

“A mobile quarterback is the most difficult element to defend in football.”
