Seahawks Boosting Yakima Economy

Seahawks fans flocked to local bars and restaurants to enjoy the game Saturday.

SportsCenter on Yakima Avenue was packed all day, filled with people donning their royal blue and lime green. Gasperetti's on South First Street hosted a playoff party with lots of drink and food specials.

"Anytime you can get the community out to our bar, we're stoked," Corey Henriquez said. "And if it's the Seahawks, it's even better."

Yakima businesses tell KNDO News they have seen a spike in business on the weekends the Seahawks played all season long.
