Kyle Seager hit a three-run walk off home-run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Seattle Mariners a 5-3 win over the Houston Astros to snap the Mariners eight game losing streak. It was Seager's second home-run of the game and his second of the year. The Mariner third basemen had been mired in a slump for the season, dating back to the last two months of last year.

Seager hit a two-run homer in the seventh off Houston starter Jarred Cosart, then added the winning shot on the first pitch from former Mariner first round pick Josh Fields (0-1) in the ninth. The five RBIs were a career high for Seager.

Fernando Rodney (1-1) got the victory, pitching the top of the ninth in relief.  The Mariners are off tonight and open a weekend series against the Rangers at Safeco Field tomorrow.
