No band was bigger in the late 80s than Genesis. With a mixture of progressive instrumentation and catchy pop lyrics, this British band was a mainstay in the classic days of MTV. Guitarist Mike Rutherford, keyboard player Tony banks and drummer/vocalist Phil Collins are probably the line up most fans remember, and achieved most of the group's mainstream success at the same time Collins was at the apex of his solo career. 1986's "Invisible Touch" yielded five U.S. top five singles, with the title track reaching #1.
