Saturday In The Parks!

Today, look at a facility that serves the whole community, but especially our seniors.

For years, Yakima's Senior Center was located downtown near Miller Park. The 16,000 square foot Harman Senior Center opened in May, 2004 at Gaileon Park. The beautifully decorated building is home to the city’s many, varied senior programs. The building houses a lounge, classrooms, a computer lab, billiards room, health care suite, coffee bar and a large multi-purpose room with a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen which is available for rentals.
