Doesn't matter if "ho-ho-ho" or "ooh-rah" gets you rolling, this Saturday (Dec. 10) is the day to answer the call for Christmas during the Give a Toy, Get a Ticket Event.

Yup, anyone w

ho shows up at Steve Hahn's Volkswagen Kia Mercedes Benz and donates a new toy to the United States Marine Corps' Toys for Tots drive gets a free ticket to Santa's Workshop, which includes visits (and photos!) with Santa Claus, cookies, hot chocolate and lots of arts and crafts activities for kids. Each donated toy is worth one ticket.

In addition to the Marines -- who'll be rolling in with an M1A1 tank -- a number of local organizations will be on hand for the event, including the Vintiques and the VW Club.

There'll also be some familiar faces (and voices). News Talk KIT's morning host, Dave Ettl, will be broadcasting live on 1280 AM from 9-11 a.m., the Morning Bull Pen's Rik Mikals and Michele Mathews will be on 92.9 KDBL from 10-noon, John Riggs from 107.3 KFFM will be on the air from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and Kelly West will rock it for 94.5 KATS from noon-2 p.m.
