Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Kicks Off Next Week

For many, it is not officially the holiday season until they see the Salvation Army Bell Ringers. But it is right around the corner. The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign will kick off a week from today at Wray’s Food Store at 56th and Summitview Avenues. Bell ringers will be at 25 different locations this year through December 24th. Last year, bell ringers raised nearly $100,000. They hope to make even more money this year. All the donations go to help the needy. They will be looking for volunteers to ring the Salvation Army bell this holiday season.
