Robbery Suspect Turns Himself Into Authorities

A suspect wanted in a Parkland, Washington armed robbery has been arrested in Yakima…County Sheriff’s deputies say a 21-year-old man turned himself into the Yakima County Sheriff’s department on Monday afternoon saying his involvement in the march robbery of Cascade Custom Jewelers in Parkland, Washington was quote “weighing” on him. After turning himself in on Monday the man who has not been identified was booked into the Yakima County jail. Detectives from the Pierce County Sheriff’s office arrived in Yakima earlier today to transport the man back to pierce county to face charges. The robbery was highlighted in the Tacoma/Pierce county and Washington Crime Stoppers programs. Police are still looking for a second suspect in connection with the robbery.
