Yakima Police have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the robbery of the 7-11 store at 16th Avenue and Summitview Avenue early Thursday morning. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the suspect was spotted by officers in East Yakima Thursday afternoon wearing the same Michael Jordon black sweat pants he was wearing in the robbery. The suspect is being held in the Yakima County juvenile jail facing robbery charges. Police are still looking for an accomplice and other suspects in four other small store robberies reported in the last two weeks.

The suspect could face charges as an adult.
