A 28-year-old robbery suspect faces charges in Yakima County Superior Court Today after being arrested following a high speed chase in the lower valley on Monday. Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say Moises Marquez robbed the U.S. Bank in Granger Monday morning after passing a note to a teller demanding cash. Authorities say he was released on $20,000 bail earlier this year after being arrested in a robbery of the same bank in August.
After Monday's robbery deputies say Moises lead authorities on a high speed chase through back roads in the lower valley ramming three patrol cars in the process. Spike strips finally stopped him in the area of Waneta Road and I-82. No injuries were reported. The 28-year-old suspect is being held in the Yakima County Jail.
