Haiti isn't exactly the place seniors go after graduation but 18 seniors from Yakima's Riverside Christian School are on a mission trip Today to the Carribean Island nation.

18-year-old Wesly Baker of Yakima is excited about the trip in which he hopes to help the people of Haiti.

The students have been traveling to Haiti for the last 10 years. Once in the country Baker says “we’ll conduct a bible school and medical clinics to help the people of Haiti.”

The seniors expect to arrive in Port A Prince Haiti this afternoon and they'll then travel to northern Haiti and a little village called Terra Blanche. The seniors from Riverside will spend 8 days in Haiti as part of the mission trip funded by and donations other fundraising efforts during the school year.
