LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ringo Starr would like you to celebrate his birthday by thinking or saying "peace and love." If you happen to be in Los Angeles that day, you can say it with him. Starr will give a peace-and-love salute on July 7 at noon Pacific time in front of the Capitol Records building in Los Angeles. Starr was asked in 2005 what he wanted for his birthday, and he replied, "Peace and love." Ever since, he has invited the public to join him wherever he happens to be on July 7 to give a peace-and-love salute, or do it on their own if they aren't with him.
