Five different intersections will be busier then normal this Friday and Saturday in Yakima. National researchers will be back for the second time talking to drivers measuring the amount of impaired driving happening on roads in Yakima. Jonna Van Dyke with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission says drivers will be chosen at random at the various intersections throughout Yakima. "If you go through the survey you do not leave your name. There's no names no identifiers here." she says the survey should take about 20 minutes and you'll make 60 dollars for the effort. The researchers will be conducting the roadside surveys at intersections throughout the city of  Yakima Friday and Saturday at all different times of the day and night. Drivers will be chosen at random. The project is being funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Washington is the first state in the US to measure changes to driving behaviors following the legalization of marijuana. The researchers were also in Yakima earlier this year.
