Fourth District Congressman Doc Hastings gives Sen Dianne Feinsteins gun control proposal little chance of passing congress.   Feinstein and fellow democrats unvieled legilsation that would ban so called assault weapons and high capacity magazines.  On The Mike Bastinelli Show," Hastings said, "I don't think the Senate can pass anything that she has introduced, they may pass something, but before it could become law it would have to pass the house, and the house will not pass any gun control bill."    Hastings says if congress does anything it should address the countries mental health system rather than attacking second ammendment rights.  Senator Feinstein is calling on the public to get behind her effort.  She says that's the only way they'll prevail over strong opposition from the National Rifle Association and its congressional allies.
