Last week, we asked you to share what you thought Yakima's best cheap eats are. We have our first installment today.

I define "cheap eats" as delicious, plentiful, inexpensive food that you might find in unusual places. Maybe a local tavern, convenience store, mom and pop place, or a high-end restaurant's happy hour.

Some of our Newstalk KIT Facebook friends came back with some answers.

Brian B. suggested one of Yakima's many taco trucks.

Susan R., also looking for authentic Mexican food, said that Antojios on Summitview was "yummy!"

Brett Jefferey mentioned that old favorite for steaks, Jean's Cottage Inn in Union Gap.

Janice B. proposed Living Care Center at 40th and Summitview, saying "it's not just for senior citizens."

Joe B. conveyed a liking for Greek Kabob on Nob Hill.

There are our first results for Yakima's best cheap eats. Keep those suggestions coming at newstalkkit.com and on Newstalk KIT's Facebook page.
