Firefighters have been busy battling flames in the Rattlesnake Ridge Fire. On Thursday the fire was nearly 2,500 acres with 40 percent containment. The fire has threatened homes. A command post set up at East Valley High School is expected to be open for several days because of the fight underway on the fire. Nearly 200 firefighters are working the fire commanded by the East Valley Fire District and The Bureau of Land Management. No injuries have been reported and no structures burned. More wind is in the forecast Today. That's good news for lower valley residents who want clear air. But bad news for firefighters.
