Purple Purse Campaign Ribbons Now On Yakima Avenue

The Yakima YWCA is reminding people of the Purple Purse Challenge Today. YWCA Executive Director Erin Black says they hope to win thousands of dollars from Allstate Insurance company by raising the most donations among other agencies by October 3rd. Black says today you'll see reminders of the Purple Purse campaign along Yakima Avenue. "We've hung large purple bows on the light poles all the way from the YWCA at 9th and Yakima Avenue all the way to the Yakima Convention Center on both sides of the street." It's a reminder to you to get involved in the campaign to help raise funding to help domestic violence victims in Yakima County.  Check out the Facebook page of the Yakima YWCA to get involved and to donate to the campaign.
