Tacoma Jury Convicts Defendant of Drug Trafficking Behind a Medical Marijuana Dispensary
TACOMA (AP) — Selling pot in a medical marijuana dispensary doesn't make it legal.
Federal prosecutors report Lance Edward Gloor was convicted by a jury in Tacoma on two drug-related charges. Authorities say Gloor tried to hide his pot dealing behind a medical marijuana dispensary.
Gloor was convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana and manufacturing marijuana. The jury was unable to reach a verdict on a money laundering charge and acquitted him on a gun charge.
