A popular bridge for hikers in the North Fork of the Tieton has been closed because of safety concerns. Doug Jenkins with the Naches Ranger District says the bridge abutments on Miriam Creek bridge have been damaged by high water forcing it's closure. Miriam Creek bridge is located about 2.4 miles from the junction of the Tieton Road (#1200) on the North Fork Tieton road (#1207) which leads to Scatter Creek Trailhead, a highly popular access point to the Goat Rocks wilderness.
