Yakima Police are searching for a man who robbed a store in the 3700 block of Nob Hill Boulevard just after midnight.

Police say the suspect entered the store with a handgun demanding money. The cashier handed over the money and was then ordered to stay in the restroom of the store until the suspect left.

A short time later, a customer entered the store and noticed the cash register was open and that no employees were around so he called police.

Police arrived and found the store employee, who was not injured. No arrest was made. The investigation continues today.
