Pizza Delivery Driver Assaulted in Zillah

A man delivering pizza to a home in the 1200 block of Cheyne Road in Zillah was robbed and assaulted Monday night.

Yakima County Sheriff's Deputies say when the victim pulled into the driveway he was assaulted by two men who hit him on the head with a bat and stole his cash and the pizza. The victim ran to a neighbor's house where deputies were called.

The suspects could not be found.

The victim was treated by firefighters on the scene and released.
