Phone Service Restored To Most Customers

Century Link has been able to restore all phone service including  911 and internet services to all customers in Gleed, Naches and Chinook Pass. However they are still working to restore local and long distance phone service to approximately 300 customers in Gleed.

A major service outage was reported for approximately 2500 customers in the Gleed, Naches and Chinook Pass areas after close to 1,000 feet of CenturyLink fiber and copper cables were stolen from the intersection of West Powerhouse Road and Naches Heights Road in Yakima,  at approximately 3:00 this morning.

Crews are still working to restore local and long distance phone service to approximately 300 customers in Gleed.
