Perfect Attendance Earns A New Bike For More Than 750 Area Kids

Every couple of weeks we talk on the radio show to the folks involved with the P.A.C.E. program.  P.A.C.E. stands for Perfect Attendance Creates Excellence and it’s a program where kids in grades K-5 in 23 area elementary schools who manage to have perfect attendance receive a free bicycle & helmet form Bud Clary Toyota of Yakima

The award ceremony this year will host over 3,000 students and family members from the area  when 758 qualifying students  are recognized on stage for their hard work.

Now in its 5^th year, Bud Clary Toyota of Yakima has awarded 2,781 bicycles and helmets to date.

Every educator we speak to say they have seen an improvement in overall attendance and in perfect attendance, with the bikes being an extra incentive to show up every day and succeed, and to know that there’s an entire community backing them in their efforts.
