Pedestrian Killed By Hit & Run Driver

A 72 year old man who was taking a walk in Terrace Hights was killed this morning by a hit and run driver.  Russell Bartlett was walking on the sidewalk near the 2800 block of Terrace Hights drive when he was hit by an out of control motor home. The female driver of the motor home did not stop, but was pulled over an arrested less than a mile away near Butterfield and Keys road. Bartlett was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Yakima woman who was driving the motor home was booked on investigation of vehicular homicide and felony hit and run.

 

The woman was the only person in the motor home at the time of the accident.
