Investigators continue searching for a cause to the fire Wednesday at Universal Forest Products Pallet and Bin factory near Gleed. The fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night. Damage is estimated at $1 million. The manager of the facility, who wasn't available for comment, tells the Yakima Herald Republic the factory will likely be back in business next week. Brian Bruning says most of the factory equipment wasn't touched by the flames that destroyed wood and wood pallets. No injuries were reported. The business was closed at the time of the fire.
