Pacific Northwest Pampers Its Pets The Most! — Dave’s Diary

We all know someone who spoils their pets (Lance Tormey) and that can take place in a variety ways.  We spend billions on the fur feathers and fins of those we love.  Amazon.com ranked U.S. cities with more than 400,000 residents based on the most pet-related items purchased per capita in the past year.

The "top dog" was Miami as Amazon noted the most toys, food, aquariums, terrariums and cages, collars and leashes sent from the Northwest to South Beach.

The top region of the country for pet overindulgence was the Pacific Northwest with Seattle ranking second and Portland coming in fifth.

The bakers dozen of most pampered pet cities are:

Amazon notes that Seattle locals love to give their animals treats more than any other city on the list.  Amazon does not conform that we often feed their pets to our pets when they visit Eastern Washington! Kidding, right?
