Owens Meat Machine Popular In Yakima

Vending machines have been around for years. But Owens Meats in Cle Elum is filling their machines with meat. 11 machines are now in businesses in the state. One of the meat vending machines is located at Steins Ace Hardware at 7200 Nob Hill Blvd. Store owner Dave Allen says the vending machine is filled with meat based snacks like pepperoni, beef and turkey jerky and even a variety pack with meat and cheese. "The response has been overwhelming. We've been selling out of the product."
Prices range from $5.50 to $11.50 depending on the size of the snack. You can use cash or a credit card to purchase an item from the meat machine located near the front door of the store.
