Official Death Toll Unchanged in Snohomish County

The official death toll from Saturdays mudslide in Snohomish County is unchanged.  It's expected that that number will increase substantially. The number of missing remains at 90.

Officials say the new numbers will be released this evening. The official death toll now sits at 17, although addition bodies have been recovered, but have yet to be included in that total.

Meanwhile,  the Associated Press says five people who were injured in the mudslideare still hospitalized. A 58-year-old man is back in intensive care after surgery to repair his pelvis. The four others include a 5-month-old boy in critical condition, and an 81-year-old man in serious condition.
