Nothing To Do This Weekend? Vote that Ballot

Are you a registered voter in the City of Yakima, East Valley, Selah or Wapato? If so you have a chance to vote your ballot this weekend. The State Auditors Office says more than 40 percent of people vote ballots on Saturdays and Sundays. Many people say the weekend gives them time to research issues they don’t have time for during the week. If you live in the City of Yakima you’re voting on the Strong Mayor issue. If you live in East Valley, Wapato or Selah you are voting on school bond issues. Remember your ballot needs to be in the Auditors Office by election day, February 8th.
