Tuesday was National voter registration day and if you haven't yet registered to vote your deadline is October 10 to register on line or in person at the auditors office. Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says people are getting excited about the upcoming presidential election. "Just over this last weekend we had about 684 registrations come into our office. Most of them come through the electronic format now days." Ross says both parties have people actively working to register voters. Currently 110, 925 voters are signed up in the county. And Ross says unlike other contests the presidential election in the county could see a turnout of upwards of 70 to 80 percent.
