No Washington Colleges Land On Top 20 Party Schools List, Parents Can Breathe Sigh of Relief
Washington State University has had a reputation as a party school in the past, but according to a recently released list, it's not in the top 20. In fact, no Washington colleges made the list. On the other hand, no Washington schools made the list of the top 20 most sober colleges in America.
The Princeton Review released its 2014 edition of "The Best 378 Colleges" book Monday, which includes the lists of the Top 20 party schools and the Top 20 sober schools.
The number one party school in the country is the University of Iowa. The University of Oregon is the only northwest school represented, at number 20.
The number one sober school in the country? Brigham Young University in Utah. The top 20 sober list is dominated by schools with religious affiliations and our nation's military academies.
Where colleges in Washington State were ranked wasn't mentioned.
