Voters will not be dealing with the car tab issue this year. The city council decided to place the question on a community survey before voting to place it on the November ballot. The survey is expected to be available in August, and will cost the city $25,000. The survey results will not be available in time to get the issue on the ballot for November.

The council wants voters to increase car tabs by $20 to help increase the street repair fund.
