No Arrests Yet In Fatal Yakima AM-PM Robbery

yakima-police-car-taped1Nearly two weeks after a man was shot at a local convenience store, authorities have made no arrests.

Yakima Police continue the search today for two suspects wanted in the April 6 fatal shooting of a 25-year-old clerk at the AM-PM on East Yakima Avenue. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says detectives have been working to find clues that will lead them to arrests.

“Many of these cases, there’s no connection between the victim and the suspect, so we are really dependent upon people coming forward with tips and leads,” Bastinelli says.
Police are hoping for tips. If you have any information, call 9-1-1 or Yakima CountyCrimestoppers at 248-9980.
