Night Time Paving on I-82 Requires Temporary Ramp Closures

Drivers traveling on Interstate 82 at night will run into ramp closures this week at the Yakima Avenue interchange.

On Monday, August 5 through Wednesday August 7, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will intermittently close ramps at the Yakima Avenue interchange. Drivers will also experience narrow lanes eastbound at the I-82 / US 12 / N. First Street interchange at night later this week.

Crews are repaving all lanes of I-82 between Selah and Union Gap. In addition, crews are repaving Yakima Avenue and the ramps at the Yakima Avenue / I-82 Interchange. This project is scheduled to be complete mid-September.
