Despite what Seattle Seahawks' fans may think, Pete Carroll is not ranked No.1. Who is ranked ahead of Carroll might even have those fans seeing red!

NFL.com's media analyst Elliott Harrison is out with his annual Head Coach Power Rankings, and even though Pete Carroll is the top man of a defending Super Bowl champion, he's not the No.1 ranked NFL coach. In fact, he's not even in the top five.

Carroll came out at No.7 in Harrison's poll. Check out who is listed in front of the Seahawks coach.

No. 1 Bill Belichik, New England Patriots

Here's what Harrison had to say about Carroll's No. 7 rating:

Yes, Seahawks fans, we realize Carroll won it all. So has every coach remaining -- save for Jim Harbaugh. So why is Carroll ranked beneath his rival? Because Seattle went 7-9 in each of Carroll's first two seasons with Seattle. He also trails Harbaugh in the head-to-head series, four games to three. However, if Carroll gets his club back to at least the NFC Championship Game, he might fly past Harbaugh and vie for the spot just below Belichick.
