Rain? Who cares? Won't slow us down today.

Besides, if it gets too bad, we can always go indoors. We might start there, anyway -- hot cup of coffee (with a lid!) and a stroll through the fabric and fashion displays in the Modern Living Building sound pretty good this afternoon.

You can also take some duck the rain at:

  • The livestock petting area. (Don't worry, the animals are dry.)
  • The 2 p.m. demonstration by the Prospectors Club of Yakima, which will offer tips on how to pan for gold.
  • And if all else fails, you'll find shelter -- and libations! -- in the Ag Building's craft-beer area.

Rain or shine, don't miss Hotel California (the Eagles tribute band) on the Pacific Power Community Stage at 2 p.m., 5:30 and 8:30 -- and for pete's sake get to Neal McCoy at 7 p.m. on the Budweiser Stage.
