New Union Gospel Mission Director On KIT

The Yakima Union Gospel Mission has a new leader. From 1968 to 1996 Roger Phillips lead the organization and in 1997 his son Rick became the Executive Director. Today a new era begins with Mike Johnson as the new Executive Director of the Yakima Union Gospel Mission. Johnson will be on The Morning News at 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning. Johnson will talk about his background and his plan for the future of the mission. Johnson will also introduce Yakima to a former homeless woman who recently completed a special program at the mission that has helped turn her life around.
