Alright fellas, listen up We gotta change boys, we gotta change.  I know, I know, WE love us just the way we are …but be honest, our way isn’t necessarily the healthy “weigh”!  And it turns out a lot of our “guy” stuff is really gal stuff!  That’s why Wendy Meyers founded the” Men Only Weight Loss program to help wean men off what she dubs “feminizing foods.”

Now for those of you who thought food was androgynous …guess again…looks like there is “X” and “Y” chow and feminizing foods are high in estrogen, which lowers testosterone and ultimately result in weight gain.

So..what do we love--Processed foods full of preservatives, dyes and soy, along with carb-loaded breads and beer .  What’s wrong with that? Apparently everything!  According to Meyers, that’s “the equivalent of several female birth control pills on a weekly or monthly basis.” The foods mimic estrogen and judging from the description of the effects, they emasculate, too. Softer, rounder is girl talk not guy stuff…so we got it wrong and we gotta change!

Meyers says “Adding insult to injury, the foods cause sex drive to decrease (gasp!) and even worse, bigger breasts to form on men (gulp!).”  OK…is that slice of olive loaf REALLY worth that??? All together – NO!  So…we have to get our minds right, we have to stop eating like women!

Men Only boasts that it is the “ONLY weight-loss program that understands weight-loss from a man’s perspective.  

The Men Only diet teaches men to replace these foods with proteins and produce, minus tedious calorie counting or portion controlling.

Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do…chicken, fish, salad and I’ll see you in the gym….one of these days!
