New Developments at Zillah Lakes on the Mike Bastinelli Show [AUDIO]

Zillah Lakes
Facebook

The Zillah Lakes housing development is a beautiful, planned residential project adjacent to both I-82 and Yakima Valley Highway.  Development is being done in phases that will include a golf course, bistro, wine-tasting room, convenience store, coffee shop, boutique retailers and live-work office spaces. A Yakima County Sheriff’s substation is also located there.. Negotiations are ongoing for a bed and breakfast clubhouse with a pool, tennis courts, workout facility and having a wine oriented focus.

Things were slowed up a bit by the recession, slowing sales of homes. However, the project recently received grants and loans to improve infrastructure, and the city of Zillah recently announced it had received federal grants to build a two mile road to the development.

Zillah Lakes Marketing Director Doug Lackman was a guest on Monday’s Mike Bastinelli show. He talked about recent happenings at Zillah Lakes, and what the infrastructure improvements will mean to the community.
