Moxee Woman’s Shooting Death Still a Mystery

The investigation continues but no arrests have been made in the shooting death of 30-year-old Desiree Sunford who was found dead in her Moxee area home April 7th.

Yakima County Sheriff's Chief Stew Graham says detectives continue to speak with Sunford's husband Scott and others to find out any information that could lead to an arrest.

Scott Sunford told deputies he was in the Tri-Cities and returned to find his wife dead in the couple's Moxee area home.

Family and friends like Kelly West, one of Sunford's best friends, says the family deserves answers. "There needs to be closure because it may have just happened but half the time these things linger on and on for years and this just can't happen that way."
