Fun and film is planned at the Harman Center ballroom for a series of free classic movie nights starting Thursday, Oct. 5.

“Come enjoy the movies, everyone’s invited,” said Recreation Program Supervisor Leslie Richards. Showtime is 6 p.m. for each of the five movies scheduled.

The series will begin with the Gene Kelly classic “Singing in the Rain” showing on Oct. 5.

Other films will include

  • “Frankenstein” starring Boris Karloff on October 19th.
  • “My Fair Lady” on November 16th.
  • “White Christmas” on November 30th.
  • “Holiday Inn” on December 14th.

Each movie night will also feature a raffle of gift cards donated by local businesses. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit the Harman Center, Richards said.

Refreshments will also be available during the movie nights.
