One minute you're on your bike buzzing along Summitview Avenue headed East near the intersection of 40th.

And in an instant you decide to change lanes ,ducking behind a truck -or so the situation appears- we're still awaiting the official -police report.  The trouble is the truck is one of those double haulers with the elongated rear hitch-something not readily apparent as you approach from behind,.  So instead of zipping into the right lane in front of Arbys, your confronted by the long, low, heavy metal hitch.

You have to wonder what flashed through the biker's mind as he felt the bike go down and be sucked under the wheel of what is often referred to as a pup trailer.

This pup packs a nasty bite that easily could have proved fatal for the unidentified motorcyclist but he was alive and visibly upset as he entered an ambulance .

Is it big news on KIT/ No, It was a moment of chance outside our door. A passing  gawker's curiosity for all others on the road. But it was the fortunate flip of life's coin on a heads or tails bet with the end for a man on a motorcycle.

We wish him well and continued incredible good luck.
