More Yakima County Families Can Get Access to Life-Changing Early Education Program

Catholic Family & Child Service's Parents as Teachers was recently awarded a $353,622 grant from the Home Visiting Services Account.

The state Department of Early Learning and administered Thrive by Five Washington oversees the Home Visiting Services Account.

The grant award will allow CFCS’s PAT program to add three full-time workers to the existing staff of three. The new parent educators will allow CFCS to support more families, specifically those in Moxee and Union Gap. Parents as Teachers is now accepting 80 new referrals.
